Do I need my own violin?
We recommend that students use their own violin. If this isn’t possible, we can provide a violin for you during our classes. Please note that the instrument must be pre-booked and there is a charge of £5 per session.
Is there a cancellation period?
You can cancel any pre-booked classes up to 10 days before the start date of your class. Refunds will not be available beyond this point.
How many students will take part in my class?
Group classes will have a minimum of five students and a maximum of ten.
Where can I buy a violin?
Our recommended violin shop is Stringers of London, their team will be delighted to advise you on all your violin related products.
Do I need anything else apart from my violin?
We recommend to have your violin, bow, rosin & shoulder rest for the session. Music stands will not be required.
When should I arrive for my class?
Please arrive five minutes prior to your start time of your class to ensure we can start promptly on time.
How often should I practice?
We recommend a daily practice routine, repetition and continuity is key to developing your instrumental skills. Shorter but more frequent sessions are preferable
Do I need any books or sheet music?
We will provide all the printed materials required for your classes.
