This class is designed for absolute adult beginners and those who haven’t played the violin in many years and need a refresher on the basic principles. No prior musical or instrumental training is required.

*If you don’t have your own instrument, you can rent one from us for each session for an additional fee. Please contact us for further details.

  • The violin and the bow
  • Posture & instrument/bow hold
  • Left hand technique (module 1)
  • Right hand technique (module 1)
  • Plucking & bowing
  • Music notation (module 1)
  • Rhythm notation (module 1)
  • Practice techniques 
  • Performance practice
