This class is designed as an introduction to the daily care and maintenance of your violin and bow.

An open Q&A session will take place during the second half of the class. 

 

*Please bring your own violin to this session if you would like first hand instruction, instruments/bows will not be provided.

  • Tuning - pegs & fine tuners
  • Changing strings
  • Cleaning - instrument & bow 
  • Checking bridge position
  • Bow hair and tension
  • When to seek professional advice
  • Q&A
